On August 9, 2025, Uplifting Our Girls hosted our first-ever Uplift & Flow workshop in Atlanta, GA — a joyful, affirming space dedicated to empowering girls ages 9–17.

The event brought together girls and their caregivers for:

• Professional bra-fit education to ensure comfort, dignity, and confidence

• Menstrual health and hygiene literacy taught with cultural sensitivity

• Interactive confidence-building activities and conversations that break stigma

• Confidence Kits filled with bras, menstrual products, affirmations, and hygiene items

Girls left the day not only with practical tools but also with newfound pride in themselves. As one participant described, “The joy, the pride, and the newfound confidence in their eyes as they tried on bras that actually fit — it was truly priceless.”

This inaugural gathering was just the beginning. Uplift & Flow will continue to expand into new communities, ensuring that every girl has the resources and encouragement she needs to grow up with confidence, dignity, and support.
