Inaugural Uplift & Flow

On August 9, 2025, Uplifting Our Girls hosted our first-ever Uplift & Flow Workshop in Atlanta, bringing together girls ages 9–17 and their caregivers for a joyful, community-building experience. Participants learned about bra fitting, menstrual health, and confidence through interactive activities and conversations, and each girl received a free Confidence Kit filled with products and affirmations. More than just a workshop, it was the beginning of a movement to ensure every girl grows up feeling seen, supported, and celebrated.

On August 9, 2025, history was made! 🌸 Uplifting Our Girls welcomed more than 50 girls and their families to our very first Uplift & Flow Workshop at the Rosel Fann Recreation Center in Atlanta. The room buzzed with laughter, learning, and sisterhood as girls ages 9–17 explored what it means to step into confidence with dignity and pride.

From first-time bra fittings to courageous conversations about periods, the morning was filled with hands-on learning, heartfelt affirmations, and the joy of discovering you’re not alone. Each girl went home with a Uplift & Flow Box packed with bras, menstrual products, and words of encouragement — but most importantly, they left standing taller, smiling brighter, and knowing they are seen, supported, and celebrated.

This inaugural workshop is just the beginning. Together, we’re creating a movement where confidence starts with the right fit — and flows into every part of a girl’s life.
